The lady from the jewellery shop at the corner of our hem passed away last Friday and the commemoration has been under way since early Saturday morning. This morning I snapped this image of our hem which is now full of floral tributes.

I need to add a footnote here - by the time all of the floral tributes had arrived they were stacked 3 and 4 deep on both sides of our hem making it a tight squeeze to get through. This morning it took 3 trucks to carry them all away, but I will write more on that above.
