Thursday night Lisa and I took the Vespa down town and had a meal at the night markets surrounding Ben Thanh market place. We ate prawns in tamarind, beef with ginger and pineapple, deep fried squid with lime, salt and pepper, some boiled rice and a couple of cold Heinekeins to wash it all down. Heaven.

After the meal we drove down Le Loi Street to a new bar called Sax N Art. This is a really modern small bar and the owner plays a very very cool sax. The music and atmosphere was excellent. Two hours and several Black Russians later we drove home in the cool night air.
