Having Mimi along on this trip has already paid dividends as we had no sooner checked in to our Bamboo Hotel than one young male member of staff asked us if we could regard him as our son because he liked the way Mimi looks. After some general joking about this situation where I told Tuan that it was OK to call me father as long as he paid for all of my food and drinks it was arranged that this morning Tuan and two of his best friends would take us for a drive through Ha Noi on their motorbikes.

What a great morning we had with these three very well mannered and pleasant young gentlemen. They could not do enough to help us see Ha Noi and it just go to show that if you have a pretty young woman with you it opens so many doors.
