Due to several problems that are out of the control of the builders and RMIT, the South Saigon campus has had other set backs that will further delay the opening. Town water has yet to be connected to the site and the bore that had been in use on site has dried up, possibly due to the drought conditions that exist in Viet Nam right now. There is also some problem regrading the optic fibre cabling that will provide Internet access to the entire campus.
Oh well, our new/temporary office at Pham Ngoc Thach is OK, but things are going to get very squeezy for teaching space when the 2nd floor of 5 Nguyen Gia Thieu has to be vacated on the 31st of this month.
Que sera sera.
