The cyclo driver who lives about 6 houses away from ours can be seen these days carrying his little granddaughter on walks or taking her for rides in his cyclo. Both he and his wife adore this little girl so much and the love and affection they shower on her is so obvious that she is blessed, because she will grow up knowing love and caring and nurturing.

I was sitting on my motorbike at an intersection the other day when he walked past with the little girl in his arms and I watched unnoticed as he kissed her on the cheek and talked gently with her in the midst of the mayhem that is the afternoon traffic on Nguyen Dinh Chieu. It is a truly beautiful thing to see.
