Le, Thi Kim Chi and her father Le, Van Tanh arrived safely in fog bound Melbourne and were taken to the domestic terminal for their flight to Hobart. They have arrived there safely also and are being looked after by two Vietnamese/Australian families. Kim Chi will have her first operation this Saturday.

Meanwhile Le, Phuong, the mother of burn victim Giang is coming to HCMC next Wednesday for another medical examination that will help determine whether she will be given permission to accompany Giang to Australia.
