Guardian Unlimited | British Blog awards 2003

image Guardian Unlimited is launching a competition to promote and reward the best of British blogging. The panel of 22 judges will pick winners for five different categories: best design, best specialist, best use of photography, best under 18 and best written. You can enter your blog in as many categories as you like. The deadline for entries is November 21. The winners will be announced on December 18. The winner of each category will receive a cheque for ?500.

Whoo Hoo!  I just entered my blog.  I don’t suppose you know of any other blog contests do you?  I don’t care about the money, I just want to promote myself : )

i wish there were more of these on an international level….its a pity something so global as blogging can’t be more global in some of these things - oh well

There are others such as the Bloggies, the anti-Bloggies, the Philipine Blog awards, and many more.

Why not organise one from your living room Darren? How about an Aussie Blog award for instance?
